Chapter 10

Geet is getting ready in her marriage attire, beautiful Mehroon Lehenga with jewelries send by Maan's Daadi Ma. Any girl in her place would be excited on her place but not she. She feels suffocated with all this things happen.

"Mumma you look good" Abhi comes to her and complements her

"Abhi listen to Rosie Aunty and I've work today so do have your dinner and sleep well."

"Okay Mumma" Abhi replied cheerfully

"Ma'am you look Bea-uti-ful"

Geet didn't replied and Rosie knows that why, "Aunty Please take care of Abhi"

"I'll Ma'am"

Geet went from there. She wants to run away from this situation but she knows running takes her no where. She have to face the reality and Reality is she has to pretend again.

Scene Shift

Maan and everyone are present in Hall which is beautiful decorated like a castle after all he is one of most bachelor in City and top listed business In Country. He enjoyed last night in his bachelor party, he knows for best organiser and he proves that last night. Dancing with girls and drinking that the life he chooses for him and this marriage permits him to live according to him.

Maan is waiting for his bride and desperate to see her again but she is nowhere to seen.

Scene Shift

"Ma'am do you still angry with Meet Sir" Rocky asked. He is Meet's driver and he also comes shifted his family In India with Geet. Meet trusted him so much and gives his two employees some percent of share. He asked them to take care of Geet and his son and they still performing their duty. Geet asked them to stay there and they never lose profit to being loyal with him but they came with her.

"I don't know Rocky"

"Ma'am I wish he is right guy for you"

"Rocky I am only pretending for Anupama Aunty and we will shift back in next three month"

"Ma'am please live your life"

Geet laughs, "Rocky my life was ended long back" was her answer before closed the door

"I pray for you Ma'am you will get your Life back....So Soon" Rocky mummers

He genuinely likes Geet as a person who may be little rude but have a golden heart. She never shows her love for anyone till the time he comes to know her but he always get a positive vibes from her.

Scene Shift

She entered the hall all alone when Maan's eyes fell on her. He comes to her side.

"Where is Rosie Aunty Geet?"

"She is doing her work Mr Khurana"

"Maan....Only Maan" he said

"Look what kind of girl... I am sorry a woman she is. She came late on her second love marriage. She even looks like a bride... Maan I am not going to accept her just look at her she doesn't have any friends or someone who atleast stand by her side.. SHE SHE EVER STAND BY YOUR SIDE" his mother taunt

"Mrs Khurana I know we both don't like each other and believe me feeling is mutual but I don't tolerate someone taunt me... Me and Maan love each other and it's we who have right to decide to whom we spend our life together. This marriage will take place with or without your blessings" Geet retort back. She also doesn't want to make place in their heart and coz of her rude behavior this marriage will stop, its the cherry on the top.

Maan will ruined the person who talk in that manner with his family but he didn't say anything to Geet. Perhaps Geet talk rude but his mother starts first. Geet rude behavior only helping him, once she taste the medicine of being a mother in law, she will never meddling in his matter.

"I told you Maan she is not a good person even, If you listen to me and marry with Sameera then we didn't face that kind of situation"

"Mom please...I don't love her and I don't want to ruin her life moreover Geet is right"

"I heard that Son will chance after marriage but this girl snatched my son before... I pray your son also snatched from you." Prema said

"Stop all this. Geet and Maan are right, they are the one who decide to whom they want to spend their like life. We should be happy for them. Now let starts the ceremony, we are already late" His Daadi mom interfere between them

"Yes Ma is right" his father said

Scene Shift

They are sitting in front of sacred fire and priest chanted the Mantras. Maan is getting bore on the other hand Geet is sitting quietly and listening to him. The Geet inside her want to scream and run away from all this Pretending Game but the Geet who is living now makes her understand this pretend helps Anupama Aunty to get well soon.

"I know you will come" his voice disturb her thought

She glares but didn't say anything, ain't she said more than enough.

Priest asked them to exchange Garlands and do some other too and they are doing.

"Oh Ho Geet please don't be so serious... We know it's fake....enjoy this"

"Easy for a guy" was her only answer

Priest later tie the knot between their Dupatta, He asked them to stand up and starts taking circle around fire.

Geet with the time being start to feel so low of herself. She is living in guilt already and this marriage... No No Fake Marriage only increasing the lament in her heart

Finally Maan tie the Magalsutra around her neck and filled her partition with red vermilion which also fell on her nose.

Priest announced them husband and wife.


Everyone gives them their wishes too and happy this marriage took place at the happy note.


Maan is happy coz his plan implement but there is nothing expression on Geet face. She want to go away from this web of lies to have some peace.

"Welcome In My Life Mr GEET MAAN SINGH KHURANA" Maan said in husky voice

Geet shiver the way he called her name with his. Its is fake but still his name is combines with her.
