MG FF: Pretend Chapter 31

I know you all are frustrated with Geet behaviour... But All I want to say, "Doodh Ka Jala Barnole bhi Phook-Phook Kar Lagata Hai" that was a perfect dialogue from Chennai Express by SRK....if anyone recalls....Its suited Geet.

Chapter 31

Geet took him hospital as soon as they could drive on slippery road...

"Dr Andrew he fainted last night due of cold and he still has fever" 

"It's happen in change of weather condition"

Andrew checked him properly and finds its just coz of cold.... He has minor fever.'

"I am fine Dr Andrew" 

"But still you have to take rest and gulping some pills"

"Andrew I am a kid who need all these things" 

"You behave like a kid Maan" Geet said 

Andrew laughs on them, "Your girlfriend is right" He said

"My wife Dr Andrew" Maan said 

Geet is not shocked to be called girlfriend but Maan clarification makes her nervous and her face changed colors 

"Fine I'll take care of him...Thank Dr Andrew.

"Geet don't run fast, think about your poor hubby who need your support" 

"I remember, you called yourself fit and fine" Geet replied back

"Why you are mad now" Maan asked her

Geet didn't stops and walk from there as soon as possible. She has to stop all this, if this continues then she will start to depend on him or his help, What about Abhi....
With whom she is lying, he is making a place in her heart... She is scared of that....Maybe he is doing coz of humanity or as a responsibility or as a friendly way but her heart starts feeling to be loved which she craved... No she can't let her heart hurt again... Images of moment together in morning only increase her stress.

"Rocky bring these medicine from store then we will move" Geet send Rocky 

"Okay Ma'am" 

"What happened Geet?" 

"Maan why you are here in New York" Geet asked directly 

"I've some work here" he replied honestly 

"Does your work is complete" 

"Yes", "Geet Tell me what happen to you suddenly" 

"You want to know, then listen, Please stop doing all this"

"What I should stop" 

"Calling me Wife when we know this is fake for both of us and please stay away from Abhi.... Please stop helping us....I am already so obliged to you all now I can't afford more" 

Maan is shocked after listening her, she is fine sometime before then what happens suddenly. She takes their care as obligation... 

Maan don't understand how to handle all this... He is calling her wife coz she is his.....

His heart knows what he feels but how he says that.

"Ma'am" 

"Yes" Geet comes out trance and she didn't looked at him as she knows he is looking at her. 

"Medicine" 

"Thank You Rocky" 

He nodded his head, "Shall we go Ma'am" 

"Yes Rocky" 

Geet sit in car and Maan follows her and sit as well. All are silence and Maan or Geet is lost. 

"Ma'am we reached" 

"Hmmmm" Geet said 

"Rocky Drop me to hotel" Maan said

"But you are still not fine" 

"Stop caring about me Geet" Maan said rudely

"Here is your medicine, take it on time" Geet said 

Maan take it as he doesn't want to create scene here.

They left without much fuss.

Geet is hurt not coz of his rude reply but... He did a lot for them and what she did.... Coz of her fear, she let him go when he needs someone.

Geet tell Rosie to take care of Abhi and call if she need her. She has some work and she has to complete. 

Geet hired a cab to reaches her destination. 

Scene Shift

Maan is pacing back and forth in his room after order some water bottle only.

He is angry but does he any right to get angry on her. Why you went there when Geet clearly mentioned him about her problem. Why he didn't tells her he cares for them that why he was there and they are......Not even friends... His mind said.

She doesn't need to feel obligation for their care for them... They're part of Khurana....For time being only... His mind said.

"What you did in morning?" his mind again start fighting 

"I am just teasing her" his heart answers 

From when your teasing hurt someone... MAAN....Geet was with last night to help you and what you did....Hurt her.... He seen pain in her eyes when she is saying stay away from HER. 

How could you forget, what she said about Her past.... Being pretended... Again.

He heard knocking sound and he replied "Keep it on table" 

"I am sorry" Geet said and it is pure shocked for him to find her here. 

"What you are doing here?"

"I shouldn't treat you that way, you helped me a lot and I just snapped you coz of..." Geet stopped 

"Coz of"

"Maan I am not bushing around, so directly comes to the point" Geet said 

"She is always direct" Maan thought 

They heard knock sound...."Come In" 

A bell boy brought water bottle and he placed it on table. 

"Maan, Abhinav is small and I don't want Abhi attached with you or any of your family.... Its a matter of one month only and after that our way will differ and he faces problems and me too" Geet said this is half reality. She knows she has feeling for him and she doesn't want his closeness break her heart....so its better to live like stranger that doesn't hurt anyone.

Maan feeling bad after knowing that Geet is so calculating the time.... Just one month and after that... "Is she serious, they are enjoying their life, ain't they?" this question raises in his head

She didn't get any reply and thought to let go of this.

"First take your medicine" Geet said

"Why you care"

"You are suffering coz of me"

"You are not at fault" Maan said

"Maan I know I am worst person to show care but don't punish yourself coz of me... Please take medicine first" 

Maan wants to decline but he didn't said a single thing, they were happy in morning and now they are all gloomy. 

Geet makes him gulp all his  medicine and take care of his need....

"You don't have to do this" Maan said when he saw her ordering his lunch.... Which is boiled foods only.

"Once I am sure your you are fine, I'll go" 

She is doing for returning an obligation and Maan don't know how to make atmosphere normal. 

"Geet, I know our relationship" Geet narrow her eyes with his choice of words, "Means we have one month...so we become good friend so that when we separate with each other, we both have good memories" Maan said although He feels sad in name of separation but they can't stay together... He wants to be free always and now he think they will stay together.... forever.

"Maan I am not a good friend" that what she all said.

Maan notice that Geet is unusual avoiding him... Why she is behaving like that....he doesn't know that why?????

She is performing her duty only.

"Geet you will go now...I am fine" Maan said 

She checked his fever and he is fine now. 

"Take Care" Geet said and about to go when he hold her wrist. 

Geet is holding herself and he is making things more tough for her.

"Maan" Geet tries to comes out from his clutch 

"Why you are running from me Geet?"

"I am not running Maan"

"Yes, you are.... What had happened... You was okay since morning and suddenly?"

"Nothing happened Maan" 

"Fine don't tell me" 

"Leave my hand now" Geet was wrinkling so that he lefts her hand

"Why you ain't answer my first question Geet, Why you even help me?" Maan asked in husky tone that scares her so much. 

Why doesn't he left her all alone?

She is quiet and want to comes out from his Clutch is her first priority. 

"Whatever I did is just for humanity sake" 

"Oh Really Geet, for humanity sake you sleep with any guy" 

She glares at him, "I slept with guys or not is none of your business". "Why you were sitting on bench Maan" She asked 

"I am enjoying snow fall"

"Oh Really, I thought your Girl Friend won't let you enter her house" She smirk

"Actually Geet My Wife through me out even My Girl-friend asked me to join her but I am loyal husband so ignore her" Maan said with the smirk

“Loyal Husband Maan” She said in some other tone and left him.

Maan is not understanding behavior…. She is like magician…One time she is behaving different and in other moment she is changed.

Throw Sandals…Rotten Eggs…. Rotten Tomatoes….. Etc will be your choice
