Chapter 18

Geet went to OT to meet him and her heart wrench to saw him like that, lying lifeless on bed. Abhi makes her realized her a motherly feeling inside her which is in a girl but it only shows when she became a mother but with him she becomes his mother later she knows what a mother is.

"Abhi you are my good boy, right"

I know you are saying, "Mumma Abhi is good boy"

"Please Baby Get up for your Mumma.. Otherwise your Mumma never talks to you"

"Abhi get up Baby, come we will play... You want to play... Right... Get Up" Geet voice is chocked and she can't make it audible but she knows his Abhi hears her. She knows Abhi loves her.

Why we always realize so late, why we always come to know the things but but not on time. REALISATION NEVER TAKE PLACE ON TIME.

"I know my Abhi never disappoint his Mumma..... I know My Abhi never disobey his Mumma..... Haina" Geet said in low voice

"Sir we have one unit of blood in our blood bank"

"Geet Bete" she understand he asked her to leave

"He will be fine Uncle" This is not questions but faith

Shashank makes her walk toward the door, "Meera stay with your friend"

She hold Geet but she is not her friend but a mother of her son. Geet eyes are closed, she doesn't want to show her weakness to anyone, not even to her friend.... She already shut all the door and this incident makes her closed the door which was open.

"Geet" Meera try to talk to her. If she didn't talk then it won't good for her health.

She makes her sit on chair and everyone sitting on there now.

"Maan go and support your wife" Daadi asked him in low voice

"Daadi Mom, she won't open up with me"

"This is right Maan, you can't sit here idle"

"Daadi Mom, please try to understand"

"Maan your Wife needs a husband this time" She said but he remain silent. She also doesn’t know what to do. May be Maan is right about that. She doesn’t seem like a person who is expressive though.

Somewhere, Daadi Ma doubt is confirm with his answer but they're married and this fact can't be ignorant. Being a human you should console the person who is suffering.

If they're in love then Geet told him about her where about, she was informed her, she had important work nothing more or nothing less.

Meera and Geet who are sitting a far away from them.

“Meera why Baba Ji punishing me…Am I that bad”

“No, Geet…Why are you thinking in that way”

Geet is crying covering her face with her palms and Meera feels that she is making distance with herself. How she says do overcome from this negativity Geet.

Geet didn’t answer, she is thinking about all the stuff people used to say about her. She is bad person, bad omen, selfish, self-centered, egoist more..

Meera also don’t know how to raise hopes in her. She is turning to Insolent with passing time and it happen with person when they are depressed but she doesn’t want to let this happen to her Sister like Friend.

She is caressing her hand and seeing her making distance with her coz she is not at all responsive with her touch too.

Geet is suffering and she is just helpless to saw her like in that way.

“Meera stay away from me”

“I don’t want to hurt you or seeing you getting hurt”

“Geet what rubbish you are talking” she was scared for this and now Geet makes negative thought win over the positive one.

“Please go away Meera”

Meera lefts her alone. If she fight with her this time then she increased her distress and she can’t afford that time.

Geet is sitting there all blankly or lost and all the negative thought consumed in her mind makes her pity on herself.

Maan somewhere knows that will come and that why he is scared of her rejection…. What if she do something stupid. How could he say to Daadi Mom about being fake with each other? He is feeling really bad for Geet and looking her so distant although she never share anything with unless necessary

Scene shift to OT

"Sir we need more blood and we used the blood which we left in our blood bank" other doctor said

"I'll talk to some other hospital maybe they have supplies"

"Okay Sir"

Shashank comes out from OT and call someone.

"No Sir, we don't have that blood group" he made 3 calls but only get this answers

"Hello C#### Hospital, I am Shashank from City Hospital... Do you have O-negative blood group"

"Shashank Sir, we have 2 units of blood but we arranged for my patience whose operation is in 2 days....I am sorry Sir but we cannot help, please arrange from somewhere else"

"Dr Mehra I called all the hospital and blood-bank but get negative answer... Please help me... You need in two day...we will arrange in till the operation"

"Sir, pleased I can't take risk with my patient life Sir as you know this blood group is rare. I am sorry"

Geet get alert when he saw him coming from OT and she saw him talking to someone and she is about to go to him but he moved to her direction. He looks tensed and all the negative thoughts comes in her mind about Abhi.

“Uncle Abhi, Is he fine” she asked but he didn’t get any feedback.

"What happens Uncle?"

"Geet we need more blood but we used the blood we had in our blood-bank"

"You can talk to other hospital or blood bank"

"I did Geet but"

"Only one hospital has that blood group" he further added

She is seeing then what the problem?

"Geet they secured that blood for his patients and they can't risk their patient life"

"Can I talk to him?"

"Geet I think we should make announcement rather than rely on them."

"Uncle I want to try, announcement consumed so much time"

"Geet I think..."

"Please Uncle just once"

Everyone saw them talking but what they don't know which blood group they need.

"Hello Sir, I am talking to City hospital... I am a helpless mother of the kid who is in OT… Sir, I know a patient safety is prime factor for a doctor but you are doctor too. Sir My baby need the supply of blood which you have right now and your patient need after two days, it’s a quite long time Sir, We will announced to people, they will surely help us but My baby is in operation theatre Sir, he immediately needs it....Please don't say No....He is only 2 years kid Sir...Please show some mercy" Geet speak with breaks as she chocked in emotions and wants the blood for her son.

"Ma’am you are not understanding?”

“Sir, I will arrange that blood”

“What the guarantee, I get that blood group"

"Sir, I will search of my own and I'll pay any cost to the donor, I’ll search the donor Sir Please....If it cost to my life... I'll give and if I need to sold myself, I wouldn't give second thought but I'll arrange the blood group for your patient Sir" Geet said to him with honesty

She is behaving like a kid who wants to get that toy and ready to pay anything without thinking the cost he or she pay is much more than it deserve.

"Ma’am it’s not easy, I took three week to search it" he said

“Please Sir, I gives you guarantee…Please…Please”

“Okay” he said but he is also scared what if she can’t but he is doctor and he can’t risk someone’s life most important a kid life. If he is honest with himself he is not dare to say no to a mother.

"Thank You" Geet said

“Uncle he is ready” Geet said “Now my Abhi will be okay”

He nodded and asked ward boy, “Bring two units of O-negtive blood from C**** Hospital”

“Okay sir”

“Bring it soon” he said and left

“O negative” Maan said

Maan, Dev and Annie heard that and they moved to Meera, who is lost in her thought. She heard and get scared for her, how she will arrange that rare blood in just two days. She couldn’t say anything but gets a bit tensed.

“It’s O-negative blood that you are needed” Meera heard them

“Yes” she said unsure

“We all have O negative blood group”

Meera is happy to hear that, “Really” ain’t it stupid to raise question but she asked in happiness.

“I mean please come to me” she added immediately.

Meera checked everything and she said No to Maan who already gave blood 3 months ago. She said directly No to Annie who 2 months ago gives blood.

“Meera I am totally fit and fine” Maan said

 “Sir, I can’t risk your life”

“Meera, 3 months is fine to regenerate the blood in the body.

“But one can give blood after 6 months”

“Meera you are a doctor”

“Sir, I can’t”

“Meera you can’t take 2 units of blood from Dev alone” Maan said

“We will search”

“Meera it’s not that easy”

“Sir, if anything happen to you…No, No, I can’t afford that” Meera denies him
