Under The Roof

Chapter 3

Geet comes out from Car with Lakshya and Pari. Lakshya and Pari are very excited and talks a lot... They planned to roam so many places.. Starting from Chandigarh.....after all Chandigarh declares beautiful city in India... Geet assure them she will be with them at least in roaming Chandigarh, she will be their tour guide.

Her family are waiting for her on door step, it's been long time when they saw her last, so her parents dying to meet her.
She comes forward and hug her mother who is crying after seeing her. Geet in all these years maybe turn hard, she control herself else its become tough for her to survive, on the top her parents won't allowed her to go from here.

"Mumma I am here with you" Geet said

"Now I am not allowing you go from here"

"Mumma we talk about it, please don't make thing's difficult for me" Geet tries to act brave

"You don't miss us Geet" Rano asked after coming out from hug

"Is it possible Mumma" Geet replied in chocked voice

"Then you will stay here with us"

"Who will handle the business"

"I don't care but I want my daughter stay with me" Rano said wiping her tears

"Rano Ji please stop crying and You can't makes her stay here forever...one day Geet will gone to her own home" Madan replied hugging his daughter

"Dad I am not going to marry anyone...I'll be your daughter" Geet tries to mold topic

"Is it possible Geet...Every daughter have to leave her parents home one day" Madan replied kissing her forehead

Lakshya and Pari get emotional to hear their emotional talk... They come forward and touches her parents feet.

"Mumma She is Pari" and "Her Fiancé Lakshya.... And Dad they Lakshya Handle HR department and Pari is Manager in Finance department....Before that they are my friend" Geet told her

"We only heard your names from her but its pleasure to meet you all"

"Pleasure is all mine Uncle"

"Come inside Beta" Rano asked them to enter

They gives importance to both of them so that they won't feel ignorance. Geet is happy to saw her family but the bad memories won't leaves her mind for a second.

Scene Shift

"OMG Geet is here Mumma why you didn't tell me before" Rano drop the bomb on her which she wants to hide and gives her surprise but sometimes you can't hide good news

"I want to talk to her, why is she...I've so many things to say or asked but before that I want to fight with her and scold her so much"

"You will scold her when we come to meet you"

"Mumma I am waiting please come soon"

"We are coming tomorrow"

"She and her friends are taking rest....It was long journey"

"Oh...Mumma Geet is changed"

Geet comes down in hall when she heard their talking and feeling bad not coz they are complaining about her but she proofs a bad daughter as well as sister....But in next moment her mind registered their word, they are going to Delhi In Khurana Mansion....


"We are going somewhere Mumma" Geet asked coming to her

"Yes, Geet... Savitri Ma asked us to come before Ansh birthday so we are going tomorrow... Actually we cancelled our plan else we're going today itself"

"But Mumma Ansh birthday is 3 days Later"

"Geet its good chance to meet with them, we used to go for few days on Ansh birthday every year."

"Mumma I don't want to go anywhere... Please"


"Geet you are here for Ansh birthday"

"I thought we will go and come back on the same day"

"Geet now you know so prepare yourself"

"Mumma I am not comfortable there please"

"Rano Ji I think we re-schedule our plan" Madan said

"No ways we change in Plan....What they said about us moreover Geetansha is happy with news Geet is back and comes there to meet her and I hurt her"

"Mumma you always care Geetansha more than me...If I don't go Geetansha will hurt but what's about me... I don't like to be socialize" Geet knows she hurt her mother but Khurana Mansion is last place she want to go that too for 3 days. She lost herself last time when she step in that Mansion and this time she doesn't have anything to be lost. (I don't know whether I mentioned or not in first part...That incident took place when Geet family went Delhi for Reception....If I don't then I am sorry....Perhaps I skipped)

"You are changed Geet?"

"I am sorry Mumma but try to understand its been long time and... " Geet cut by her mother

"You are still a stubborn Geet" Rano said

"Mumma please" Geet knows she used to be stubborn but now she has reason which she couldn't share.

"Rano Ji why you are sulking your face"

"Don't try to cheer me Madan Ji, you always take Geet side whenever she demand something but now she is grown up... Every time her demand won't fulfill" Rano Ji said

"Rano Ji she came today and we start fighting, it doesn't sound good....Please"

"I am the one who change my plan but not Geet"

"Mumma Listen" but Rano goes

"Daddy I don't want to hurt her But I don't want to go anywhere"

"Geet Bete, I understand but Geetansha really wants to meet you and we all stay together after long time in that manner...I am forcing you....But I'll glad if we go" Madan kissed Geet head and went from there.

Geet went to her room

Again tears of helplessness oozing out from her eyes, she is not in position to say anything.. What anyone can do... Feeling sad but no one comes to any conclusion. She doesn't want to go through with mental torture and anyone fake pity.

She went to Washroom as this is only place where one can shed their tears without anyone notice. She is feeling bad to hurt her mother in few hours after coming back home, Her mother used to love Geetansha more and honestly she doesn't have any problem a Madan loves Her more, its happen even in parent love there would be discrimination... No one can love each person in the same amount.

But today she is feeling, coz of running from Bad Memories she starts hurting her loves one's.

She is sitting under shower and cold water mixed with her hot tears and it wash away but Pain won't reduce a bit.

All she is running away from Shadow.....Of Past coz she doesn't know what is her past, just she lost something very special to any girl.

Next Day

"Geet we are ready." Lakshya and Pari said

"Thank you for getting ready in a notice"

"Geet why you are so formal Geet, We came here to roam new place and going Delhi is another opportunity"

Her mother face lit up with the new, "You are ready Geet"

"Why wouldn't I when My Mom promised to come" She said and wink to Madan

He smiled

"I know My Geet never deny her mother"

"I love you Mumma"

"I love you too"

3 hours Later

Geetansha hugs her twin sister and then starts ranting over everything thing and Geet manofying her sister. She meet with everyone except Maan and Dev as they are in office. Geet comes a big surprise for all, Prema doesn't like her before coz of her open nature, she feels she is not good like Geetansha... Dev and she used to flirt with him and it always problematic for her.
Geet meets everyone formally and didn't talk like before which everyone noticed too.

Later In The Evening

Geet is standing in their garden area with Ansh who is playing and Geet is watching him. Ansh and Geet goes well with each other.... Lakshya and Pari again went to roam, she asked them to stay in hotel so that no one feel uncomfortable. They are happy to obliged.

Scene Shift

"Why don't you tell me Geet is here" Manan asked

"Coz your secretary said you are unavailable" Geetansha said

"I want to kill her, Stupid Girl"

"She does like you"

"You are my wife" Its a question

Geetansha laughs, "Yes, I am but what to do my husband is so hot and husband, how can a girl resist you"

"Oh Really wifey" he kissed her


Scene Shift

Maan stocked to find Geet here, how could he recognized... Then he doesn't know... Maybe coz of their shadow.... of past help him to know her.

Her back is facing and he is standing there and watching at her or notice her act. She is smiling and feeling the tender flower on her fingers.
She is touching flowers and he thought, a flower smile to touch and feel the other flower. Maan smiled, which he doesn't notice at all. He is smiling after so many years, which is not fake but direct from his heart.

"Maan you look more handsome when you smile"
