Chapter 31


Maan comes to her and said "Lemme see your leg"

"Mr Khurana please I am fine" she said

"Geet Bete, Maan is right, show him he will see your sprain"

"I am fine Daadi Ma, please Mr Khurana"

Geet is trapped between the two. She lays him back and tries to get up... And she somehow do it in front of them without showing her pain.

"See I am good" she said like a child hide her injury so that parent didn't take his/her to the doctor.

Maan placed it in front of her, he knows how stubborn she can get, spending time with her, he knows how childish and immature she is.

Daadi Ma also gives him signal to go and he nodded his head. They leaves her.

"Aahhhh" Geet sit immediately with the pain she suffered

Flashback Start

"Di....Jiju" Jaanvi scream on the top of her lungs

"Jaanu what happen" he run upto her as well as Di

She is crying and both are worried what had happened, "My finger hurt" she shows her finger where little bit blood oozing out.

He run to get detol or band aid.

"Jaanu how it happen" her Di get worried

"I hurt with corner of the side table"

Her Jiju came to her and said, "we replaced this table" hit the table to get her hurt

Her Di took band aid or other thing to provides her aid. She is crying and with her her Di also cried and Jiju was her worried for her and it bring smiles on her face.

"Why You are smiling Jaanu, do you even know how much worried for you... Be careful Jaanu" her Jiju asked

"I am smiling czo I got best Di and Jiju in this world and I know I never ever get hurt again"

"You smart Girl"

"I love you both"

"We love you too"

Her Jiju asked her to piggyback ride, "Jiju My finger get hurt not finger"

"So what" he replied

"When I get hurt on foot than give me piggyback ride"

"Till I am alive it won't happen, you never get hurt" he said like a father

"You get free ride Jaanu, so enjoy" Her Di said lovingly

"Okay" Jaanvi said with broad smiles and all day she tease Ansh for carries all day and he is ignored.

Flashback End

"You are right Jiju, I never get hurt when you are with me but you never mention what I'll do when you are not around" tears escaped from her eyes.

"Than I am there to help you of you allowed" Maan voice startled her.


Few minutes back

"What had happen Maan, she sound so worried"

Maan tell what had happened, I don't understand why she even come or she planned something but she trapped with me.
Maan smiles

"Great going grandson"

"Thank You Daadi"

"Do you know anything about her"

"Not much"

"Where you were lost, he is fine"

"No Maan, Ansh wakes up at night all screaming and crying for her Jaanu Maasi Ma"

"Why you didn't call me"

"I don't want to disturb anyone Maan, you both or driver...I somehow hold little kid but"

"But" Maan in confusion

"He is not Geet son but she is his Maasi"

"How could you say that"

"When Geet takes him in her arms, he calls her Jaanu Maasi Ma and she said she is there for him...Though I am bemused beforehand as Geet is look younger to become mother and now I am sure"

"But her name is Geet"

"Perhaps Maan but she would chanced it"

"Changed her name" Maan mind strike the point

"She is stubborn Daadi Ma and Arnav is not help as I told you before"

"He is right at his place, if Geet tell him about her issue and he is redeeming his promises."

"I don't have any complaints, I know him for so long Daadi Ma, Arnav will anything for his promise."

"First gives her aid, I never encounter a girl like her"

"She will makes you run after you" Daadi Ma said in other sensed but Maan take it normally

"I am with you, she makes me run after her even last night, I know how I makes her stay there....." Maan mind stuck with Daadi's smirks, "Daadi Ma you know what I want to say" Maan is so embarrassed"

"Did I say something or ask"

"I am going to help her" he literally run from there.

Present Time

Geet heart skipped few beats which his answers, "I told Mr Khurana, I am fine" Geet said and sit on bed

"Yeah I know you are fine"

He comes to her, Geet want to say... But nothing comes from her mouth, "Ummmm" she was looking here and there

Maan saw her nervousness, "Show me if you already through tantrum"

Geet immediately look at him, "I don't through tantrum"

"Yeah...Yeah" Maan hold her leg and it is swallow, "I am fine" Maan mock

Maan put both her legs on bed securely and tower her saari above her ankle which makes her conscious. She is already in nervous and he makes her more.

Maan touch her sprain, "Aaah" Geet stalled him and recoil her sprained leg so that he don't touch her sprain, "its paining"

"But sometime before you said I am fine" she looks him angrily as he is Mocking

Maan first gives oil massage to her which gives her relief... He is expert.

"You are expert in massaging, do you do more often" Geet said in tease him

"Don't you know me Geet, gimme a chance and enjoy my massage on your body" Maan retort back makes her shut and embarrassed too. Maan saw her face which she turn to other side.

"What happen Geet, don't you believe me... Test me once"

"I don't need it" she said immediately on which he smirked

His cellphone start ringing, "Mr Khurana pick up your call... Now I am fine" Geet skedaddle her leg but Maan immediately hold her tight, "Aaaah" Mr Khurana

"Geet Lemme help you and than you will start dancing"

"I am not dancing"

"Oh really than why you are skedaddled"

"I am not, your cell phone is ringing, take it maybe it is important or your girlfriend call" Geet try to distract him

"Take out my cell phone" Maan said standing in front of her and indicating it is in his side pocket

"I am taking out" Geet saw him terrified, how could he tell her to take out his cellphone on his side pocket. How on earth she put her hand in his pocket.

"Geet, we you ever cooperate with me" Maan said huffed voice

Jaanvi he is not good for your health, I never ever scare if exam beforehand but he makes her heart thumping so fast with his talk.

Geet saw him and take out his cellphone and without seeing it he try to handover him, "talk" she said

"Geet do you have mind, my hands are fraught with oil and you gives me"

"What I'll do"

"What normally people do Geet" Maan said

"I am abnormal, don't you know"

"Now I know you fully"

Maan sit again on his seat and start his work, "Mr Khurana this is 4 time your cell phone is working, wash you hand and received your call"

"Talk Geet and said what is important" Maan said

"Do you know you are stubborn" Geet said

"Less than you" Maan retort back

Geet pick up his call, "Maan I am waiting for you entire Night"

"Why you are waiting for Maan, Meinka" Geet asked in magnificent voice

"Geet" Meinka asked in shocked tone, "It's Maan's number" She doesn't understand what to say

"I am his wife Meinka, I can pick up his call... Do you want to say convey some message..Gives to me... I'll give him" Geet said mean voice

Maan noticed a madness in holder voice while talking to her, he never noticed Geet never talk normally to them, she bifurcate between them, she talk seductively with Rajnaath and Meinka but she never talk in that manner just few times with him.
Today he listened to her.

Maan in his thinking about her and gives more pressure to her sprained area, "Aaaaahhhhhh, what are you doing M...Maan" Geet somehow hold herself

"Sorry" Maan said as he didn't purposely but he hurt her

"Please do it with ease" Geet said

"Maan is with you" Meinka hard Maan voice and it looks like they are closed to each other.

"Who else Meinka"

"What he is doing" her voice say she is jealous

"You are jealous Meinka" Geet said knowingly, "He is my husband what he will he do at this hour in the morning" Geet said without caring Maan is sitting in front of her

Maan is literally taken back with her open talk, she makes her jealous but why.

"Umm....I...We.... We had a meeting yesterday"

"Actually we carried away Meinka so sorry" she is not sorry

"I've go Geet, we fixed meeting some other time"

"Yeah" Geet said and cut the call but she is smirking

"What I am doing Geet" This time Maan said with smirks and she realised what she did in front of Maan.

"She is not your girlfriend so I did that, I hope you don't have any business with her" Geet tries her level best to say casually but she failed miserably

"No she is not" Maan said. He do want to tease her more but control himself to her embarrassed red face.

Maan fixing her veins and applies paste on her leg. He said, "Don't start your dance, gives it rest"

"Okay" Geet said

"Geet I am coming soon to take paper so don't back out and signed" Maan said

"I'll Mr Khurana" Geet said with honest voice

Few Hour Later

Geet is limping but manage to cook lunch for them. She makes him sit in front of him and gives him his piano to play.

She is working and talking to Arnav, "Arnav I need your help"

"Geet anytime you say without being formal"

"I am not formal Arnav, Okay, Listen to me... Mr Khurana is asking me to give him Divorce and he is taking the paper today so I've leave this house"

"Maan asked you to sign the divorce papers" Arnav asked in shocked voice

"Yes" Geet said, "Why you sound shocked, it's bound to happen"

Arnav don't digest the fact, Maan is not a person who back out just like that, he wants to know her but he didn't tell her to keep his promise with her but he wants his friends win.... What going on his mind... That was not Divorce Paper, "Does he asked you leave the out-house"

"No, but why I wait for him to throw out"

"He never throw you Geet"

"You are so sure"

"I know my friend"

"I know but it's not looking good after that I stay here" Geet is saying

Arnav knows Maan is doing something without her knowledge, hope he won't hurt her, he doesn't breach his promise as a friend. He didn't said anything to Geet about Maan inquiring.

"What do you want"

"Please arrange a house for me" Geet said

"You can stay with me" Arnav said

"No Arnav it's not looking good and not only Khushi but society also don't approve" Geet said

"Geet"

"Please"

"Okay"

Maan is standing side of the kitchen pillar, he listened to her conversation, so she is planned for next already.

She is making lunch and coffee for herself.

"One cup coffee for me too Geet but black" he makes her startle

She is already limping and he scared her off.

"When you come" Geet Asked

"Of-course, Just" Maan knows what she want to say

"Okay" she with her sprained leg makes a cup of black coffee for him

She immediately made for him.

Maan watched her keenly. Geet pour his coffee in a cup and pass to him, "Mr Khurana will you gimme a day to pack my things before leaving"

Maan didn't said anything, "I signed it Geet" Maan passed the paper to her

Geet singed it without reading it once, there is so many paper and Maan asked her to sign and she does without asking anything.

"OMG My Food" Geet said and go to kitchen area again.

"Geet slowly" Maan try to stop her but she skedaddled

She put her food aside without switch off the gas flame... She didn't notice her Scarf caught 🔥 fire.

She smell something burning but she thought maybe her food burnt. Geet comes to them when Ansh start screaming, "Fire...Fire....Fire.. Jaanu Maasi Ma Fire... Save Mumma Papa" Maan and Geet is shocked with his screaming at this hour.

Geet is waking upto Ansh and Maan saw her scarf is burning where is her mind, "Geet" he came to her and stall her.
He throw her scarf from her neck, "Geet where were you lost" Maan screams

Geet pushed him as Ansh is screaming is uncontrollable.
"Ansh"

"Jaanu Maasi Ma...Fire. Fire. Save Mumma Papa"

"Ansh..Shhhh"

"Save Mumaa Papa Jaanu Maasi Ma" he is throwing his hand and leg

Geet takes him in her arms, "Ansh, I am here... Shhhhhhh" she said but he faint in her arms

"Ansh" Geet scream and she find his body looses
