Chapter 14

Maan sit on bed and saw his surroundings to judge where he is... He is on his bed.... He was terrified with his dream...yes he dreamt which seems surreal... He was sweating profusely and his heartbeat is beating so fast.

God what he was dreaming, he was not scared when Geet blames him or His father slapped him but Daadi Ma... His eyes turn moist.

God what sin he did in previous life that he was repenting in this birth... He again did a sin and so many life affected coz of him... He so wants to turn the pages... He didn't have drinks that night might be there was chances of him to be sober and he control Geet as well as Him.

He went to Daadi Ma room, it's 3 in the morning so she should be sleeping, "I am so sorry Daadi to come here like that without your prior permission...but you Maan needs you" he said holding her hand

"I know you are sleeping that why I am here to confessed something..." He has tears in his eyes.

"Daadi Ma....................." He said what is in his heart... What he feels and how suffocated he felt right now. He feels that he was coward that why he didn't dare to confessed his mistake.

"Daadi Ma, Yaman is my son...still I couldn't say that... I am the most unlucky person who said his own son adopted coz he was scared to say what everyone react." He cried till his heart out.

"I never want to hurt Geet in my dream as I began to likes her but I took advantage of her condition when she was not drugged... I want to save her but I become Bbbbbbb" Maan cried, "I turn your morals or values down... I feel I am a cheap person... Daadi Ma.... This monster not scare a little bit of himself but you all... I dreamt you left me alone... I love Mumma but you very well knows you are above then her... I can sacrifice my entire life in guilt but I can't risk your life" he cried, "I love you the most, I don't know how I makes her agree Daadi Ma but I want to give her respect that she deserves and Yaman also need his father or his love..." Maan cried, "I am scared what if Geet didn't accept me and leaves me.... I don't want that... I know I sound selfish but I want them in my life, they are my life that I was unaware before but now I am aware so I want them" Maan said.... He later kiss her hand that he took in his... he kissed forehead.... "Be with me Daadi Ma, I know I don't deserve anything but I want them, they get best without anyone pointing at them" he said and leaves from there.

Next Morning

Maan called Geet to set a meeting with her, she couldn't understand but she can't say No to him when he is helping her.

Scene Shift

She was waiting for the person that her parents talked about. He didn't even calls her perhaps he backs out after knowing that she denies their proposal.

She picked up Yaman and drop him at home, Maan again called her and asked her he is on the way so she wait for him.

He took long breath and enter in FH... "Maan" Geet saw him and gives him smile

"Good Afternoon Geet"

"Good Afternoon" she replied, "Aunty please make black coffee for Maan"

"Geet I don't want anything....I want to talk to you but not here"

"Is Everything Okay" Geet asked

"Can we talk on the way"

"Okay" she said picking her purse, she bid bye to Yaman and Rosy Aunty.

They are sitting in-car and Maan is driving, "Where we are going Maan"

"Don't worry I never hurt you... at least this time" he said last line in his mind

"I know I am safe with you Maan" Geet replied

"You are not at all safe with me Geet" Maan thought, he gives her small smile.

Maan stop the car in secluded spot, Geet is little bit scare...why they are here.

"Maan why we are here"

"Marry me Geet" Maan said directly, "I know you are shunned and had so many questions but I want to marry you" Maan said without hiding and Geet is shunned

"Geet" he said in loud voice when he didn't get any response

"You send the proposal" Geet asked suddenly

"Yes" Maan said

"Maan, I don't want to marry... Neither you nor anyone"

"I know but if I ever want to marry someone then the girl is you or no one else"

"What kind of obstinacy is that"

"Whatever you called Geet" Maan replied calmly

"Maan...you don't understand...."

"I don't want to understand anything" he said

"Maan" Geet doesn't know why but she can't hurt him.

Maan cuts her, "I likes you Geet when I saw you for the first time in Manan marriage" this is Deja vu condition for Maan... He said these lines before in dream.

Geet is shocked with his revelation, "No, this can't be true"

"I know you don't believe me Geet but I really want to marry you"

"Maan please do try to understand... I am not alone.... I've responsibility of Yaman"

"I am Yaman's father" Maan said directly to his heart out

But Geet takes as he wants to become Yaman's father.

"Maan you don't know about me, please select a nice girl... I am imperfect for you... You deserve better girl"

"You are best Geet, I know I don't deserve best" he argue

"You are not talking Maan but you likeness said all these things... Be practical Maan... I am not virgin" she closed her eyes, "I am Yaman's real mother" she said finally coz she wants him to deny of his own

"I know"

"What...How"

"I heard what you said to Rosy Aunty" Maan said

"You know... everything" she choked, "Still you want to marry me... I am not good Maan"

"As I said you are best Geet, it's not your fault"

"Its my fault Maan" Geet said in scream

"How it was your fault when you was drugged Geet... It's not your fault but the person was with you... I wish he rot in hell" he said and he means whatever he said for himself and his sin and hiding the fact with Geet.... He is keeps her in black.... He feels more guilty.

"Please Maan, don't say like that" she said

"He deserves that Geet" he said closing his eyes.

"Maan please don't...." She said and she was crying and Maan couldn't hold himself and takes her in his embrace... He kept his one hand on her petite waist and she also crying in his embrace, she used to cry but couldn't understand why she feels something... She hold the soft fabric of his shirt from his waist... "I don't know Maan" she cried, "Whom I was with... Or...How..." She couldn't complete sentence, "Shhhhhhhh"

Maan cried with him, he wished he can say everything and he was with her but he couldn't get that much courage to say.

"I couldn't say anything to person Maan, I don't know why but what if he was also like in my condition"

"You are Sweet Geet but one is like you.... You are innocent or naive but the person" Maan said last line very slowly

"Gimme a chance Geet" Maan said

Geet comes out from hugs and said, "No, Maan.... I can't ruined you life"

"Geet.... Do tell me one thing... If a Man heard some guys wants to do something with a guys and they did spiked their drink...that Man was little tipsy, he went to save that girl but he couldn't as Girl was spiked... He took her to room so that he kept her away from them but the drugged start its work and the girl who was drugged to do all those things, start doing what the drugged made her do.... The guy tries his level best to stop but he was tipsy also lost in passion... Who was at fault, Those monster or that guy who tries to save her" Geet is listening carefully... She relates it with her...

Geet saw him with her doe-shape eyes that is red due to crying, "For me all the monster are belongs to same category..." Maan is about to tell her, he was the guy and you are the girl but Geet interrupted him

"But the guy who wants to save her was not at fault" She aid

"How could you say that Geet, he is most Devil among all"

"He wants to save her"

"He wants to save her from them but couldn't save her from him"

"Maan I don't understand all these...why you tell me this story"

"I want to say Geet, you are never at fault" Maan said

"For you but for others" Geet asked

"Why you think about others Geet, you can't stop living your life"

"Maan"

"If you don't want me to touch you, I won't...but please marry me Geet"

"You are selfless person Maan but don't make me selfish"

"You are most selfless person I ever met Geet"

"Marry me Geet, we become friends... I never cross the limit but please marry me" he said

Geet is thinking and nodding her head but Maan again pleads, "Please" his voice melt his heart.

"Okay" Geet said and she is shunned with her own confession... She is about to deny but Maan takes her in his embrace.... "Thank You Geet, I promise I'll keep you and Yaman happy" he said

"God what she did" she thought
