Chapter 16

Today's is their Engagement Ceremony, Pari and Lakshya tease her, Geet is just pretending to be happy. Her parents asked Yaman to call Maan his Dad. Yaman comes to her and tell her about his problem. Geet wants to talks to her parents not to asked him directly, why they can't understand... She said she is going marry Maan so he is your Dad. Yaman lives in New York so he understands it. He asked several questions and she mould all the answer, what doesn't know what else she made him understand.

Geet parents asked her to come to their hometown but Geet said she can't overlook her work. She said it's easy for everyone so they didn't force her and agreed with her condition.

They all are coming Farm House....what a coincidence Maan made especially for him and today in this FH they are going to give name to their relationship. Geet doesn't want to go to OH specially, she never wants to...that was a place where she lost everything... Her darkest secrets buried there and she never wants to reveals it even with own self.

Later At The Evening

Everyone gather there, talking and gossiping about Maan's marriage. All said it's Geetansha idea to get her sister married with Maan and traps her.

Yaman and Ansh are playing around, Ansh introduce him with his others friends said he is my brother.

Daadi Ma is sitting with Maan, Prema is as usual not happy with all this event but she can't come between her son love. Maan clearly said he only wants to marry her.

Geet descended from stairs with her mother, Geetansha and Pari, she is looking beautiful in light pink color Lehenga Choli. She didn't dare to see other, she thought that after that incident she ever get married coz of so many reasons... Though Maan knows one reason unknown to other.

Finally she sits with Maan who is looking handsome in his cream sherwani and light pink stall wrapped around it.

"Are you nervous" Maan asked

"No" she gives him small smile, he knows she is hiding.

"Bhai, Geet couldn't be nervous...she makes you nervous" Manan tease her

Maan nudge him but Geet didn't replied.

"Mumma" Yaman comes to her

"Where you were Yaman"

"I am playing with Ansh, he let me introduce with his friends." Yaman said

"Good" she said slowly

"You look beautiful Mumma" he said

She gives genuine smiles to him, "Thank You"

"At least you talk to someone Geet or I thought you keep Maun Vrat for Bhai, though you don't have to as Bhai is all fida on you" Maan glares him but Manan is Manan... He tease her

Geet is embarrassed to hear that, "OMG" he acts, "Geet is blushing, that's ain't eight wonder" he said

"Stop teasing my sister Manan"

"Oh Really.... Don't you remember how much she tease me in our marriage" he said and Geet face turn pale... Maan saw that and his heart contrast inside it.

"So technically you are taking revenge"

"Yes" he nodded

"Okay, enough for today, come with me I've some work with you"

"What kind of work Di" Geet said so casually no one understands... She smiles lightly, "You can do all work when party get over" she said

"See and you are stopping me... Bhai teach your wife to be like you who never tease me"

"I never stops her for anything" Maan said and they all said "Ooooooohhhh" they all said and he and Geet are smiling.

Amar and Madan offering the prayer and rituals before engagement, exchanging things and next priest asked The couple to be to exchange the rings... Photographer is ready to shoot the memories... Geet is first whom Priest asked to slip the ring in Maan's hand... Everyone cheers and Photographer asked both of them how to hold and stay to click the perfect pictures. Next Maan asked to do the same, they heard to kiss her... "Yes Bhai" Manan and Geetansha said... Geet is little nervous and Maan sensed that, he take her hand in his warm hand and Geet lower her lashes, she knows what he is going to do but she thank God, he didn't kiss her...on face... Maan kiss her ring finger where he slipped the ring which is adoring her beautiful finger.

"That's not fair, we are asking for at least kiss on face"

Maan glares as Geet is red with embarrassment so Everyone hooting loudly for the couple... Photographer doing her job to take pics...

The ceremony is end at good notes... Soon they announced the marriage rituals is going to start.

Maan calls her when everyone is about to leave, "Geet"

"Yes"

"I am so sorry, I said I never makes you feel nervous and today"..... He stopped

"It's okay" Geet immediately respond

"Okay Good Night"

"Good Night" she replied

They all return to their place.

Scene Shift

Geet is laying beside Yaman, she is prepared for everything now....

Flashback (Before Engagement)

"Geet I don't see you happy like any girl who would be happy at this time"

"I am" Geet replied in low voice

"I know you don't, at least don't lie to me...right now.... Geet I am not asking you what is the reason behind your this behaviour but you are going to be tied in this pure relationship... I know you took decision because of Uncle and Aunty but Geet, they are not at fault, they wants your happiness... You never shows interested in guys so what they will do.... Geet you are matured enough to decide whatever you are going to do is good for you as well" Pari made her understand

"You don't know Pari what is my problem or reason"

"Don't tell me cause that was a past, whenever you recalls it, it's gives you pain or anguish" she replied, "I don't asked you anything"

"I am hiding something from you and you are saying... It's doesn't matter"

"Geet we can't share everything to best friend and it doesn't means they are not beat friend.... So many things we have to hide co of so many reasons... It never end any relationship at least best friend or family relationships.... Though it's different between couples as they are more transparent, I guess that but In my opinion I don't think so we share each and everything to everyone... Whoever the person Geet..." Pari said

"I never knew that you are that much matured and understanding Pari" she said

"It's not about mature Geet but Yes I understand that we have so many black shadow that we hides from ourselves"

"Pari, Maan said he likes me but I don't want to be any relationship"

"How much you will run Geet" Pari asked, "Okay don't answer me" she immediately said when she noticed she is looking for an answer.... "Geet I know you are running from relationship coz of something but just one's you have to be lived your life... Just one's you have given chance to him... Just one's gives your destiny a chance, let see what it brings for you... He seems nice to me Geet even Lakshya noticed that he said it's fast to say he loves you or not....." Geet cuts Pari, He likes me not love" she said in low embarrassed tone

"Yeah...Yeah....for liking he convinced you to get married, he definitely loves you...the way he saw you clearly shows that he is so much in love with you" Pari said and Geet is red, "That true Geet, think about it" she said

She didn't say anything just hummed, "Hmmm"

Flashback Ends

"Geet if you are not comfortable I never cross my line"

"Will you marry me"

"He is my son"

Geet is smiling recalling everything, his talks and conversation with Pari...

"Geet what are you doing" she scold for her stupidity

"Maan is nice guy" she confessed to herself... "Lost in Maan Bhai's thought" Geetansha tease her and one can say startled her.

"Di"

"Yes Jeetani Ji" she said

"What is this" Geet said in low voice

"If you are missing him, do call him" Geetansha

"No Di, I am not missing him" she said

"I know what going on inside you, don't hide okay"

"Di please" Geet asked her to stop

"Okay I am not saying anything but Do call him" she said and pick her call, "Di what are you doing, please Do I am not going to talk"

Geetansha rolled her eyes and dial his number, "With me Geet.... Why?" They heard Maan voice as she put it on speaker

"Nahi.....Vo....Mein"

"She is lost in your thoughts Maan Bhai aka My Jiju" Maan ears definitely turns red when he heard her calling Jiju.

"Di please, Yaman is sleeping here" she tried story escape and she pleads

"Do tell you want to talk to him alone and don't want me to hear you private conversation" she tease

Geet didn't say anything not even Maan, but he surely loves all these teasing. She gives her cell phone back to her and said , "Do talk him, this time period is very precious so enjoy every bit of it." She said keeping the call on mute.

Geet again put it on normal mode, "How are you"

"The way you looked me few hours back" he replied and she closed her eyes for her stupid question.

"Di dial your number" she said

"You don't want to talk to me" Maan asked

"No, it's not like that Maan" she immediately respond

"I know our relationship is not normal...."

"Then we make it" Geet complete the sentence with determination

"Yes sure... Good Night"

"Good Night" she cut the call... "Yes she surely will give chance to this relationship, yes she was pressurized but she is that mature to build any relationship" she made herself understand
