Chapter 20

"Hello Uncle"

"Very Sure Uncle"

"Fine, take these papers... But think twice"

Scene Shift

"Where you were Geet" Geetansha asked when she saw her coming back home. It's been two days, she feels so bad to see her in that condition, her sister hides just for her marriage sake and she is not aware. She is taking extra care of Geet and Yaman.

"I went for some work Di, it's important, trust me"

"I trust you Geet but sometimes I feel you hides so many things with me"

"Di, there was definitely a reason if we hides so many things" Geet said and then change the topic, "We hide so many things for other benefits na, Mumma Papa used to tell, if hiding gives us happiness then you are not wrong"

Geetansha has tears in her eyes and she hugs her...Geet hugs her back, "What happen to you, you seems so emotional.... Are you pregnant and you didn't tell me" Geetansha hits her

"Geet" she said, "Keep smiling Di" she said, "Di listen I've to go to Australia, there will be some conference so I've gone... First I thought to send Pari and Lakshya but they wants to meet me... So I can't overlook... Di, Will you take care of Yaman, Rosy Aunty is with you" Geet is going on

Geetansha cut her, "Are you out of your mind, you are requesting me to take care of Yaman...Geet for God sake... don't make me feel so low"

"I am so sorry Di if I hurt you, that's not my intention but you really a busy woman and holding home that not easy task and I'll you responsibility"

"Geet I am taking care of Ansh, there is no difference between Ansh and Yaman. They are my kids not some responsibility...You are turning formal with me"

"I am so sorry Di"

"Just keep quiet, when you will go"

"Tomorrow" she replied

"Pack your stuff but Geet" She stop

"Yes Di" she replied

"You are going to Australia, means, I mean Maan Bhai was also there, do you talk to him about"

"Di, Australia is not small but big country... Why I'll bother him, I've come back in three days..."

"It's okay, I am just asking...." she didn't force her to talk to him, she wants to gives her time to think.

They bid good night and leave each other.

"Mumma When will Papa come"

"Why Yaman" she asked

"I love to stay with him, he plays with me" Geet gives him weak smile.

"Yaman do you want to go back" she asked at random, "I mean, don't you miss your old friends"

"Yes, I do" he replied, "Are we going back"

"If My Boss Calls me there then I've go, Do you want to stay with Papa or Mumma"

"Can't Papa also lives with us there, though I miss everyone, Daadu, Badi Daadi, Maasi and Uncle and specially Ansh" he confirmed to him, "Mumma can't you talk to your boss" he asked

"Hmm.... I'll try" she replied

"Yaman, will you stay here for 3 days, I am going to Australia" she said

"You are going to meet Papa but you didn't take me"

Geet saw his attachment with Maan, "I want to baby but you see, We are not allowed to take kids... You stay here with Ansh and Maasi, Rosy Aunty is also here... Please"

"Okay, do tell Papa... I am missing him"

"Yeah... Why don't you call him and tell him"

"I talked to him and do tell him but you are going to meet him personally, so you also deliver my message" he said

Geet gives him smile don't want to break his innocent heart, "Hmmm" they lay down and enter in dream world.

Next Morning

"Geet, I heart that you are going to Australia"

"Yes, Papa"

"I am sure he is so happy with this news" he said and she gives him smile....

"Papa I don't inform him"

"What" Amar and Daadi Ma are shocked

"Actually I want to gives him surprise." she said...

"Okay... That's awesome Idea, we are not going to say anything to him"

Daadi Ma and Amar are so happy, at least they are going to meet but Prema....Manan and Annie are happy and they tease her but Geetansha knows she didn't... She still didn't decide, whom to blame.

One Day Later In Australia

Geet enter in her suite, she is thinking about Yaman and her conversation... She is having shower as they asked her to attend some party... It is business party where all the client gather to meet and clears their doubts... She wore a black knee-length dress, it's simple but perfectly suit for this business meeting or conference.

She put a little amount of liquid Sindoor and Mangalsutra... She is wearing a black necklace... Her marital symbols are almost hide, she doesn't want to show off as everyone talks about it and asked her and what she will tell to them so it's better she wore but without letting anyone knows. She wore a pair of sandal and ready to go. She hire a car for 3 days and she will drive of her own.

One Hour Later

Geet enter in party hall and she feels so conscious as all comes with pairs, God she thought maybe someone come likes her. Stupid Geet, they all are not married, they comes with their boyfriends and girlfriends... It's not India where people at work only focus on work but foreign land where people enjoy their life with work.... that's why she wants to send Pari and Lakshya.

She directly goes to clients who she knows at least, she don't feel lonely.

"Hello Miss Rathore"

"Hello Mr Maxwell, pleasure to meet you" He comes forward and kiss on her cheeks...

"Same here, meet my girlfriend... Silvana" they both greet each other...and hugs each other and kiss on cheeks. It's their tradition.

"You come alone" he asked

"Yeah" she didn't say anything more. He didn't ask as he knows she is not interested to say anything.

"Come so many clients wants to meet you" in same manner.

"Hmmm" she followed them.

"You are Geet" one of the client ask

"Why Sir"

"Geet don't call sir or madam, either surname name basis or First name if we are closed."

"Actually We expect some aged woman come to meet us as we heard your name and your work tell that"

"My father helps me in that"

"That's great, you are still single"

She is in fixed what to tell or not. She already bemused with this marriage. God, please no more awkward talk.

"Mr Maxwell you said this is business conference and I don't expect this kind of informal party" Geet change the topic

"Yeah, we all want to meet our clients and they also want to meet us....it's small gathering."

They finally talks about the project, they said they thought to combine this upcoming projects.

"Why Mr Maxwell, now I sensed that You think, "I can't do this but...."

"Don't think like that but we want to do this work within a year. You are handling India's project as well as this project... You said this project need 2 years or so."

"Yes Mr Maxwell, what you asked for is time-consuming..."

"If you don't mind Geet, we want to join hand with someone and do this work in a year." He suggested

"Do you know someone, who can can work on my condition. I hate interference" her voice shows the attitude.

"You personally talk with him" he suggested

"Okay" she nodded her head

"Come with me" he said and Geet is about to walk when her phone starts ringing and she said excused herself, "Me Maxwell, I'll follow you but I need pick this call"

"Okay" he said and walking ahead and she is following him..

"Hello Yaman" she said lovingly

"Mumma, do you convey my msg to Papa"

"You miss your Papa but your Mumma" Geet change the topic

"No Mumma, Papa said he meets you and when I asked him, Does Mumma convey my msg he said, No" he complaint... Geet is confused with his answer and her heart skipped the beat.

He stopped near some clients or businessmen... "Miss Rathore meet Mr Khurana" he introduced her with him, she is shunned to saw hear his name and her eyes meets with him. She is totally forget, she is surrounded by so many people..she is starting at him in daze, it's shocked or surprise...she only knows and God. Maan smiles to her but in a teasing way.

"Every girl fall for your charm for you Mr Khurana but I  don't expect from you Miss Rathore" which broke her trance.

"Mumma are you listening to me" Yaman

"Hmmmmm" she said still everything turns out so sudden. "Australia turn so small" she thought

Maan take her cell from her hand as he knows whom she is talking.

"Hello Honey" Maan talks to him

"You know each other" he asked after witnessing

"I don't expect Mr Khurana to be here" she replied and Maan heard him. Maan cut the call with the promise to calls him back when they both return.

"That's mean you know each other"

"Yeah" Geet is about to say when Maan comes near her and hugs her and kiss her cheeks... "You don't tell me Geet, you are coming here" he asked in complaining tone

Mr Maxwell is little bit surprised with his way of wishing, he just formally handshake with everyone, even when some woman and girls approach him.

Geet is not in condition to replied back.

"Are you angry with me Geet, please tell me." still he didn't comes out from hugs and asked

She tries to comes out from hugs and Maan left her.

"I am little surprised with you Mr Khurana" he asked

"How you will react when you meet your newly wedded wife after one month" Maan answer what he wajts to ask.

"Wife" he asked

"Yes, meet my wife Mrs Geet Maan Singh Khurana" he introduced her.

Geet who is bemused and turned more shocked with his reply, his change behaviour makes her more confused.

"You didn't tell us Miss...I mean Mrs Khurana, you are married"

"Actually" her mind still didn't comprehend and what she say

"We married a month back but I've come here and didn't get chance to announced our Marriage" Maan explained, "If you know her them you also know she hate to share her personal life with anyone... please don't mind."

"No problem.... It's great now you both are together so there is no problem you work together... Congratulations Mr and Mrs Khurana" he said and wished them.

More clients comes and wished both of them and finally after their wishing end and they talked about on the topic that they are there for.

Maan was looking at her when the time she enter, his eyes fixed on her. They way she wished them, he is jealous when anyone touch her, he knows it's just their way of wishing but how he makes his jealous heart understand. He knows about her coming and why she is coming... He keeps his eyes on her, where she goes and what she was doing there...each and everything... He also knows what she was hiding and what she plans for them, that was last thing he wants...he will do anything but Divorce her.
