Chapter 40

Today is Sunday still Geet has important work at hospital. Dr Shashank and she did small surgery of Ally's. They comes out from OT while talking with each other.

"Dr do you see any improvement" Meet asked

"Mr Rathore, we can't say anything right now. We will say exactly position when we will do last surgery... But yes the blockage is melting for sure... Do pray for her, we are doing our level best... Just 3 more months." He said putting his hand on him.

"Hmmmm" he said in low voice

"Excuse me" Geet said to Shashank Sir and went from there. She didn't looked at Mr Rathore and Family.

Geet reached her apartment and the day passed so quick, they have so much work, they select so many gifts for Annie and hope she likes it.

They get ready for the marriage function, Geet is wearing forest green suit and taking scarfs on one side. Pari is wearing Saari as per Yash wish. He asked her to wear and she wants to decline but he said he wants to see her, so she has to wear and Geet helps her to wear. It's blood red colour saari with golden border and our Meera wear Scarlet red colour one shoulder off gown. She has motive to wear this dress as well as her tattoo is visible too.

Everyone is left as everyone is so busy. Geet and everyone reached party venue. Annie is still in beauty parlour with her cousins or Sameera or Tara.

Amar and Prema Khurana reached there and welcoming the guest. Daadi Ma, Dev or Maan handling clients inside.

After an hour, Annie reached and Baraat also come... Dev or Maan busy with Arjun's arrival. Their cousins stops Arjun on entrance and want to charge him and he tries to ditch them... Finally Arjun sit on decorated chair waiting for Annie... Her parents take her and gives her hand to Arjun. Finally Garland ceremony start, again their cousins start playing, not to bow down.

Geet saw Sameera who looks really gorgeous, that's why Maan is after her. She is beautiful inside out. She goes to her. "Looking gorgeous Sameera"

"Thank You and you too" she replied

"Do you meet our handsome hunk"

"Whom you are talking about" she saw her suspiciously, "Don't say you also fall for Maan's charm as I thought his charm won't affect you." Sameera said, "From which angle he looks handsome" she asked

"Feeling is mutual" Geet thought in her head, "He is atleast don't deny the fact"

"Okay I agree with you but don't tell or he sits on my head" she said in low voice and Geet laughs

"Sameera do you like him" Geet asked looking at Annie or Arjun

"Yeah, I do or even more but again Geet don't tell him" she said with wink and Geet gives small smile and she feel her heart skipped a beat.

"Yeah" she is about to ask something but

"Geet Di please help us" Annie cousins comes to her

"Tell me"

"Di you are common friend of Jiju and Di please, help us to steal his shoes"

"Yes, we are but how can I help you" she asked

"Di, You and Meera Di talks to him, we will do our work. You just engaged him in talking so that her sister or brother."

"I'll try but please don't scream if your plan fails." She said

"No, problem Di."

Scene Shift

After Garland ceremony, everyone comes for blessings and later their cousins wants to have a little fun, dancing and enjoying. Meera asked her cousin, she is going to perform first.

"Geet please shoot my dance"

"Okay" she said and open the videocamera.

"Annie this is for you from my and Reyaan side" Meera announced with that she and Reyaan comes to stage. They performed on "Senoritã". Meera and Reyaan performed sizzling hot dance performance, everyone jaw drop to ground to saw their chemistry... Now Geet knows why she brought this dress and Reyaan wore black 3 piece suit. Dev doesn't like the way his hands roams around her even their closeness but Others are astonished with their performance and when their song end, everyone comes to them to praise them.

"That was awesome Meer and Reyaan." Pari, Yash and Geet said

"Thanks" they said.

Their cousins also performed dance numbers. Later DJ asked for couple dance. So, everyone now searches for couple.

"Geet" she heard Mr Rathore voice

Geet looks around and everyone is busy with searching couples and she is alone with him.

"Yes, Mr Rathore" she said

"I want your help Geet. Please help me this time."

"Yes tell me" she said

"Mom and I is leaving for 2 months with Daada Ji... I want to take Abhi with me but he is not ready for come with us... Geet I am planning to leave this country when Ally's get recover. Right now I am going in pretext of Daada Ji treatment and I am settling my business there so We have to be there. Geet will you take care of Abhi in my absence though I already gives you responsibility of Ally and now Abhi"

"I'll" she said without taking second thought.

"What husband and wifey talking about" Reyaan tease her but his voice tell he is feeling jealous, at least Geet sensed that.

Geet is embarrassed in front of Meet... He also knows she didn't disclose anything to him but why.

"Nothing Dr Reyaan"

"Please joins the other couples" he said but this time with smile.

Neither Meet nor Geet couldn't say anything to him. He asked her hand for dance and she look at Reyaan and gives him her hand with small smile.

"Why you didn't cleared him about us" Meet couldn't control himself and asked, "He is your colleagues"

"Mr Rathore, I can't tell you it's personal but I can assure you, he is not thread. He will leave this country so I didn't cleared anything" she said looking down

"He loves you but you didn't... That's why you didn't clear anything to him" he said and she immediately look at him directly his eyes without blinking.

"Ah... Umm.... Vooo.... It's not like that...." She stammered a lot... Song end and she sigh of relief, "I think we should leave" she asked

"Can I dance with you wife"

Meet look at Geet and then Reyaan, "Yeah if she don't mind" he said and Geet gives him small smile. He takes her to dance floor.

"I don't know you are great dancer"

"You don't know my hidden capabilities Geet" he said

"Yeah"

"You are looking beautiful Geet"

"Krishna Ji, that's awkward" she thought, "Thank You" she replied not looking at him.

"Geet I really Love you, if you plan to leave your husband then do Lemme know" he said with wink... He is staring at her.

"What if you fall in love that time" Geet asked

"I'll leave her"

"You are too much Reyaan"

"I am telling you truth Geet coz you are my first love so when I fall in love again still your place never change" he gives his philosophy

Geet literally rolled her eyes, "I think you are drunk. I am leaving" she said and wants to go but he pulled her towards him.

"Reyaan" Geet saw him shocked.

"I am going in one hour Geet, complete a dance." He said staring at her continuously. Geet is feeling uncomfortable under his gaze. She is thinking about Mr Rathore who is going for 2 months and Reyaan is leaving forever... This is last time... She made herself understand... At least now they spend time without tension. Finally this awkward dance end.

Reyaan comes to Arjun and Annie who are sitting and enjoying everyone dance. "Dr Anwesha and Arjun... Congratulations once again, I am leaving"

"Stay a little longer"

"I can't, flight won't reschedule for me" he winks at them"

"It's great to know you Dr Reyaan" she said

"Same here, I also get so much Love here..." He said

"Anwesha... Arjun... Come now it's your turn" Her cousins asked

"Bye"

"Bye" they said and went.

Pari and Yash also bid them Bye before joining to dance floor.

Reyaan kissed Meera on cheek later kissed Geet on corner on her lips. Geet breathe hitched with his closeness and she closed her eyes but she didn't scream on him. It's not innotoced by Mr Rathore whose eyes fixed on her as well as Dev or Maan...

"You are taking undue advantage Reyaan" Meera said

"Bye" he said and went from there without saying good bye to Geet as she is avoiding to look at him.

"Thanks To Krishna Ji, we never ever met" Meera said to Geet

"Yeah" she said. They turn to Annie or Arjun...

Mr Rathore also wishes Maan or Dev and left from there too...

Maan or Dev asked them for Dance and they said yes thought Geet doesn't want but She knows Maan wants to ask about Sameera.

"I don't know you are that great dancer" Dev said to Meera

"Thank You" she said with smile. Dev spun her and made her stick with him. "Mr Khurana" she is perplexed. He saw her Mehendi tattoo that made him crazy.

"You called everyone with first name but you changed in my case." Dev said

"You are my friend's brother mr Khurana, what you expect I flirts with you" she said

"I don't want you flirt with me but something different" Dev said and she looks him from corner of her eyes in confusion.

Dev freed his one hand and touch her tattoo and her breathe stops, "W..haa..t are you doing" she stammer with his not so innocent act. She wants to comes out from his cage but he didn't let her free.

"Do you know what I want to do when I saw on your back"

"I am not interested" Meera manage to say

"But I am interested to tell you" Dev said huskily, "I want to touch it with..." He said in low sexy voice... He kissed her on her tattoo.

"Leave me you flirt" she said after coming out from shocked as his act made her stomach's butterfly dance with happiness at least now she realise what Geet feels couple of minutes before when Reyaan kissed her.

"You are so partial Meera"

She glares him as he won't allowed her to moves, "He gives friendly kiss"

"And My Kiss" he asked and she is tongue tight.

"Nothing"

"Then why you reacting"

"I don't" she said with confidence hope he won't do anything. He smiles, "Then I get one more kiss"

"Leave" she said

On the other side

"Your way is clear Mr Khurana, if you propose her, she will definitely say Yes" Geet said with small smile but not looking at him as she didn't feels good to give him that news.

"Why you let her kiss you Geet" he asked and she looked at him.

"What Mr Khurana" she asked shocked tone

"My name is so tough for you Geet please tell me... What is your problem?" Maan asked. Geet doesn't know what to say, she doesn't want to feel for him. Last name basis at least makes you realise you are not friends. How could she tell him without hurting him.

"Why you so angry, I did your work" she asked in low tone

"You are so Idiot Geet" Maan said to him. They leave the dance floor.

"What I did" she asked in low tone, "Today is not your day Geet." She made herself understand, "Leave all guys, they are not good for your health" she said, "Haina Krishna Ji" she talks to herself

"Forget Meer, where are Pari and Yash"

"We are here" they said

Scene Shift

They had dinner with fun and teasing. After that Priest said it's auspicious time, so their parents made them sit on sacred place. Geet as per plan helps her cousin to hide his shoes cleverly.

Arjun is unaware of the fact that what happened with him. Geet gave shoes to her cousin.

Priest made them married with each other. They take circle around fire as well as tie mangalsutra aroun her neck. Finally she is married.

Later her cousin asked for money from Arjun in exchange of shoes.

He gives her money after so much drama.

Finally every ceremony end at good note and Annie is ready to leave her home. It's painful for everyone... But in marriages this part is painful... She brought tears in Maan or Dev's eyes...

Everyone leave venue retarded to their home.
