Chapter 21

Gyaneshwar is little surprised but he is happy for her daughter, now he has problem Geet. She is turning to Krishna’s Meera that he doesn’t want. She is his responsibility and he wants to fulfill all his duties. He wants to see his daughter become beautiful bride.

A woman walking with great difficulty on the steps of Temple, she wants to reached Temple.

“Behen Ji do you need help”

She turn to him, seems like they met with accident as her head is covered with bandages like she comes from hospital and her hand is also covered with bandages.

“I am an unlucky mother who gives her daughter to Krishna’s Ji, he will take care of her” She replied with so much difficulty

“Why are you saying so Behan”

“My Name is Karuna Shastri, My husband is well-known Pandit last night our entire family went for marriage and We met with accident and my entire family was dead and me and my daughter are saved but doctor said they couldn’t save me but Krishna Ji save My Daughter Geet so I came here to give her to him” she said in low voice

“Why are saying so Behan Ji, you will also recover soon”

“I know Bhai Sahab I don’t have much time”

He saw an age of one or so is smiling to him and she is pure white or slightest pink in color, he smiled back to her. She produces voice like, “Aaaa…Aaa”

Gyaneshwar saw the woman sit near Krishna Idol near his feet and made her lay down on his feet.

“Krishna Ji Protect her and do accept my daughter” she cried in front of him

“If you want could I take her as my daughter” Gyaneshwar said to her

And her eyes brighten up with his talk, “Really Bhai Sahab but your family”

“They will happily accept her, If you give me permission”

No, Bhai Sahab I know I don’t have time please lemme spend time with my daughter” she said

Geet is smiling to her mother who caresses her face lovingly and kisses her face… And In an hour or so she take last breath.

“I’ll fulfill my promise Behan. See your Geet is liked by Purohit and they send a proposal. She is going to bride…. I promise you will see your daughter get better life.” He said and he is waiting for morning so that he can talk.

“Who’s call was that, you seems happy”

“Khurana Ji asked for Geet hand for his eldest son”

“Ji” she is shocked to hear that, it’s not that she is not happy but whatever they did made everything complicated, Geet is married to Dev Ji and how could she married to his elder brother.

“Krishna Ji what are you doing” her face fell, she will be happiest person if that incident won’t took place but now circumstances are different.

“You seems not happy” he brings her back to reality

“No Ji, I am happy but Geet is younger and she is only 20 and….”

“Gopi Ji, all I want Geet get better life, that doesn’t make any difference she is younger or not… I like their family so I will talk to Geet.” He said

“Ji” she said. They went to sleep but sleep is far away from her.

“Krishna Ji please make everything okay, coz of my mistake Geet won’t suffer please” she has tears in her eyes.

Next Day

“Where are you going Maa Ji”

“I am going to Bhanu, he said he get papers ready but he doesn’t understand I need soon. Give him time Maa Ji”

“I don’t have time”

Then it’s strike in her mind if that divorce take place then she get married to him without any problem.

“Where are you lost Bahu”

“Nowhere, she is not going to tell her or she will create a problem”

“You are right Maa Ji, tell him to do it soon so that Geet will be free”

“You are thinking about that girl but Nayanthara”

Geet went to Temple and today Gyaneshwar also done his morning routine of prayer and went to Temple so that he can talk to her.

“Bau Ji you came early”

“Yes, I want to talk to you Geet” he said

“Seems like it is very important”

“Very Important Geet” he replied, “I have good news for you”

“Geet, Khurana Ji sent proposal for you for his eldest son Maan”

“But Bau Ji I am not interested to get married” she replied with her accelerated Heartbeat

“But why” he asked and she doesn’t know how he make him understand. He seems so happy few seconds ago and now she snatch happiness from his voice. He sounds low.

“I want to become Krishna Ji Devotee Bau Ji” she was shunned with all this news.

“Geet I already told you I allowed you to Become Krishna’s Meera till I find groom for you and now the proposal come of their own so I aspects you listening to me” he said

“Bau Ji I am so sorry If I hurt you but please don’t force me, I can’t” she said, how could she married again, she is married though she is ready to give him Divorce but she did a sin and she is going to pay for ask forgiveness to Krishna Ji till her last breath.

“Geet, I can’t force you as you are not my own daughter”

“Bau Ji don’t say like that, I am your daughter please” she cried

“If you are my daughter than why you are not allowing me to fulfill my responsibility, your mother will be happy to see you happy”

“Bau Ji” she doesn’t understand what to say

“Gyaneshwar Ji” he called again, “Do you talk to Geet”

“I tried Khurana Ji” he replied in low voice

“Does she love some one”

“No Khurana Ji, my daughter is not like that… Khurana Ji can we meet as I am not comfortable to talk about her on phone if you have time”

“Okay I’ll come Kalbadevi at afternoon” he said

Maan went to his office and thinking about last day event, he met her not one time but too, he wants to know about her, Is she recovers but how could he know about her.

“He can talk to Dev at least he knows she is fine” he thought

He immediately called Dev, “Bhai are you fine”

“You went to office so early and you didn’t come for breakfast”

“I was out for so many mouth and has so much work…you understand”

“Nothing I heard your wife is not fine” Luckily he heard from Mumma who said she said she is not feeling well.

“Yes Bhai… But now she is fine, I talk to her about that” he generally said to Maan, yes he asked to her when he knows she is not feeling well, she said she is fine.

“Okay” he said, they talk casually and cut the call

“What happen Gyaneshwar Ji”

“Amar Ji, Geet is not my own daughter” he said everything to him without concealing a single thing.

“She is Shastri by cast Gyaneshwar Ji and I really don’t care about it… All I want A Girl who change Maan thinking” he said

“I don’t know what my mother told Geet as she is adamant not to get married” he said to her

He reached to her school, he wants to meet her directly. He met the Principal and directly asked to meet Geet. She asked peon to called her.

They arranged room for talking in private.

“Fine… Geet you know why I came here”

“I am Krishna Devotee Sir, I don’t want to get married”

“Geet I am not forcing you to marry my son as I don’t have right but I want a girl like you for my son….I know only you can make him move on right way.” He said

“Sir, what can I do… I really want to help you but maybe I never become A Good Wife”

“A girl who care for other and good daughter, she will be good daughter in law”

“I know you will be a good wife too” he said, “Geet, you father honestly tell me everything about you so I am going to tell you honestly why I want you as my daughter… Geet, Maan was in love with someone but that girl is not good for him… He told her everything that happened there. “Now you tell me Geet if I am wrong”

“Sir he is in love with someone and they shared a relationship than how could you think I can help you”

“You become a reason so that he lived here with us, Geet I am not sure about it but I told you honestly what I know…. Geet If that girl is nice enough than I of my own settled both of them but I know she is not good for him as well as for this family.” He said, “Geet, A girl can make a boy and destroy him as well… I know she will only destroy him…as a parent I am so sure about that girl”

Everyone in school is curious but no one asked to her, Geet after school went to Temple directly.

“Krishna Ji, why are doing so, you very well aware of my condition still you let that happen”

“I am worried about My Grand Daughter, I want Dev Ji get divorce but you is following orders”

“Its your grand-daughter mistake which we paying for and my Geet is paying for… She is living there happily and here we are worried” she said

“She is not mistaken… She was scared that why she run away”

“Just stop it Maa, stop covering for her”

“I will worried for her, she is my blood that you both forget coz of that girl who is not our even” she said

“Enough Maa Ji, I am not going to bear that, she is not our blood but she done what our own blood can’t do” she replied

“Bahu I not mood because of Bhanu and that Lawyer strike… Here I am thinking how I get them divorce and then I should think about their marriage… I know you both forget but She is my blood and I’ll do anything for her” she said

Geet who is listening to them feel bad.

Geet went to her room and thinking about them, if she enter their home than she will get them married or I have scope to get them married.

She think what she will do, she comes to main room and made call to Amar Singh Khurana….

“Sir I am Geet”

“I know Bete”

“Sir I am ready” Geet said to Amar, “But I want to say something…it’s not condition Sir but request”
